Because... I was traveling.
Because I got a job offer on Thursday.
And because I just spent hours on the road.
I am now in Boston.
New job! New research!
And, more importantly, new busking scene!

That pretty much sums up everything that I will talk about here... (I guess saying "random tangents" is a cop-out. But that means I can talk about anything. So I'm keepin' it there!)
I have been a magician most of my life.
I am a relatively new street performer.
And I have recently conducted research on Chicago street performers - research which, I guess, may never actually end.
This blog is just an extension of all of that.
